Eduard 11175 WILDER CAT 1/48 is a limited edition, precisely crafted plastic model kit depicting the FM-2 Wildcat – an American carrier based fighter from World War II.

FM-2 Wildcat is the final and most advanced version of the renowned F4F Wildcat fighter. Thanks to a reinforced Pratt & Whitney R-1820-56 engine and reduced weight, the aircraft featured excellent manoeuverability and the ability to carry increased armament, while maintaining high combat damage resistance. The FM-2 Wildcat was a crucial component in the defence of American aircraft carriers and convoys, and effectively participated in air operations during the Pacific campaign, including missions against Japanese naval forces.
