The Patrol Air Cushion Vehicle (PACV) was a river patrol boat that the U.S. Navy deployed in combat during the Vietnam War as a new amphibious weapon.

 PACVs are particularly effective in shallow, marshy areas such as the Mekong Delta, and their speed, manoeuverability, and superior firepower have allowed them to be used not only for patrols, but also for escorting other ships, conducting reconnaissance, transporting heavy weapons, and providing direct fire support to infantry.
