The 500 K made its debut at the 1934 Berlin Motor Show. The K no longer referred to the short wheelbase model, but to the supercharged version. With this car, Hans Nibel had created a masterpiece of beauty that was also an extremely modern automobile. The lines of the 500 K were intended to symbolise the rebirth of the German Navy.
