The BF 109 is one of the most produced fighter aircraft in history – around 33,900 aircraft were built and used by Germany during World War II. The BF 109 was not only a fighter, but was also used as an escort fighter, ground attack and reconnaissance aircraft. The aircraft was very successful for Germany and won more air battles during World War II than any other fighter aircraft. Its only weakness was its range, as its fuel tank was relatively small – with a full tank the aircraft could reach approximately 580 km. Take control and become your own BF 109 pilot! The radio controlled aircraft has three different modes to help you develop your skills. Choose from beginner, experienced and expert. In beginner mode, the 6 axis gyro system ensures stable flight. You can focus on learning the controls and basic manoeuvers. This mode requires no previous experience with RC aircraft.

After some practice, you can move on to Expert mode. Here, the gyro works less actively, and you have more direct control of the aircraft. In Expert mode, it's all up to you – full control and maximum freedom in the air!

The Volantex RC BF 109 comes with a 4 channel 2.4 GHz controller. The high frequency provides a stable connection without interference from other radio controlled models. Perfect when you want to fly with friends. The controller uses 4 AA batteries (not included).
