Warhammer Tech Pro 18ml Pot: Shading Medium is a specialist hobby medium designed to give miniature painters greater control when working with shading techniques, helping create depth, definition, and more controlled transitions across painted miniatures.

Shading is an important stage of miniature painting, helping define recessed areas and create the impression of depth between raised and lower surfaces. Warhammer Tech Pro Shading Medium can be incorporated into your painting process when you want greater control over how shading colours are applied and developed across a model.

The medium is particularly useful when working with coordinated colour schemes such as the Warhammer Tone Pro range. It gives painters another tool for developing the transition from darker shadows into the main colours of a miniature, helping create a more considered progression of tones across armour, clothing, skin, equipment, and other surfaces.

Shading Medium can be useful across everything from individual characters and display miniatures to complete squads, vehicles, monsters, and terrain. Areas with sculpted recesses, folds, panel lines, and other details can particularly benefit from careful shading, as these darker areas help reinforce the shape and definition of the miniature.
