Sturdy and dependable, when the US Navy began its counteroffensive following the Pearl Harbour attack, it was the small yet mighty F4F Wildcat that defended US carriers and cleared the skies of enemy aircraft. American pilots adapted their tactics to avoid dogfights with the nimble Mitsubishi Zero, enabling the tough Wildcat to maintain its position in the Pacific until the superior F6F Hellcat was deployed.

This exceptional 1/72 scale model kit allows you to recreate the iconic Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat, embodying the resilient nature of the aircraft that played a crucial role in the Pacific during the challenging times of 1942. With 58 intricately moulded plastic components, this skill level 2 kit offers an engaging project for hobbyists aged 8 and up, featuring a completed wingspan of 160mm and offering two genuine paint scheme options for customisation.
