The Fokker D.VII earned a reputation as the best fighter at the end of World War I, thanks to its excellent manoeuverability, simplicity of piloting, and sturdy construction. Renowned by fighter aces, it was so highly valued that in the conditions of the German surrender, all examples of the aircraft were demanded to be handed over. It served, among others, in the Battle of the Marne and during the last frontline battles of 1918.

The model represents one of the most important German fighter planes of World War I – the Fokker D.VII in the version produced by OAW (Ostdeutsche Albatros Werke).

The kit includes precisely moulded plastic parts, photo etched details, and a decal sheet allowing the assembly of several marking options
